Broadcom Teaming configuration issue
Hi,
We have Dell server with 2 build-in network cards with 2 port each. And 2 cards with 2 port each in PCI slots. Currently only one port with cable in is connected to the server. All other ports have cable is unplugged. The problem is that if configure BroadCom network Team and add cable connected and not connected network ports as the Team members, after server reboot Teaming Network shows as cable unplugged. It seems that network port that has network cable unplugged takes a lead on the Teaming network. Teaming is configured with Smart Load Balancing(TM) and Failover.
Why network does not failover to correct network Team member with cable plugged in?
Thanks

I noticed that even with one working network card configured in network Teaming we have cable unplugged after server reboot for that Teamed virtual card. What could be wrong?
Thanks
