Change Auditor Agent and Events

Hi, 

As I understand the documentation for Change Auditor, the Agent does not simply retrieve events from the Domain Controller's event log and translate it into meaningful information, it somehow builds its own event s from actions performed on Active Directory. 

Could someone please shed some light on how this agent intervenes and build events?
