Dell Power Edge R320 can Windows & 64 be installed on this machine
Can WIndows 7 64 bit be installed on this Machine
our application software is having issues on windows 2008 standard R2 64 bits and that same software used to work ok wih windows 7 64 bit so we want to switch to windows 7 64 bits.
If some one knows the answer to this question and how to do it, please respond as soon as possible.

No client OS (including Windows 7) is supported on Dell servers, so be ready for surprise issues. That said, it will "probably" work. You will need to use the 2008 R2 drivers, as no Windows 7 drivers likely exist for much of the hardware. Odd that 2008 R2 doesn't work, where it uses the same kernel as W7x64 ...
