Dell PowerEdge 6580 Server
Hi John here. I have the older PowerEdge 6580 server with 4 cpu's. I need to know witch server software to use with it. The server will be used for the Internet website and a email server,. and it will have 3 user's. What will I need to make it totally legal. Witch Server software and witch Windows Ver. works with it,,,???

What "server software" are you looking for? Assuming you mean the 6850 and not the 6580, you could do either Linux or Windows. Which are you planning? If Windows, 2008 R2 is supported, so I would use that. Although only SUSE and RHEL are supported Linux distros for this machine, it is very likely that other distros would work, like CentOS and probably an older version of Ubuntu server.
