Dell T330 - internal, rear facing IDSDM slot - Can this function as a generic PCIe slot?
I'm curious if this slot will work as a basic x1 PCIe slot for purposes other than IDSDM?
(I'm see rather slow SATA performance with the S130 and wonder about adding a separate SATA controller to this slot.)

Hi @WaChWeGo,
Based on the schematic block diagram of T330, it doesn't look like it's for any other PCIe card to be installed on. It is labeled for IDSDM only. I'm unsure if other cards than IDSDM would work, but hey, if you are thinking of trying, let us know the outcome. Share the information to the public community.

I tried an asm1064 SATA card with Ubuntu 20.04 and no dice. But I think I'll try another card soon.
