Installation of RHEL 6.4 (32 bits) on PowerEdge T430

Hello everyone,

I would like to install RHEL 6.4 (32-bit) on a PowerEdge T430. I am forced to use an OS (32-bit) because of the final solution should turn on.

Someone would have an experience to share me that.

thank you beforehand

Hi,

Only the 64 bit version is validated on the T430. You may be able to find drivers for the 32 bit version and make it work.

Thank for message,

But Precisely, is what I do for a few days. the problem is with hardware drivers RAID Controller PERC S300 that are not available in version 6.4 32-bit RHEL. until now all I have as information is to disable the raid Controller in the bios and change the controler to work directly with software redhat for example. if anyone can offer me something else, it would also be nice.

he S300 is a driver based raid controller it only works with Windows. You will need a different controller for RHEL to work.
