Mount a USB hard drive in Linux

hi, I am using a cool linux called LormaLinux, its a minimized version of
SlackWare 10.1, i deleted the windows2003 server and just installed it, now my powerEdge4400 its working like a charm with Linux installed.
My question would be how can I mount the USB hard disk in my current linux system?
NOTE: That usb disk has a FAT32 filesystem.

Thanks in advance.

may I knnow what type and version of OS have installed?

In my experience the best fileSystem that the usb har disk can have is as out of the box, so just turn on your server, and then turn on the usb hard disk, then plug the usb cable into the server's usb slot, wait a couple seconds, and then take a look to the /var/log/messages file, the newest record must be the block device or the /dev/ address of the new usb plugged into the system, such as (you must have turned on the log daemon):

May 12 12:12:01 nas2 kernel: Initializing USB Mass Storage driver...
May 12 12:12:01 nas2 kernel: usb.c: registered new driver usb-storage
May 12 12:12:01 nas2 kernel: scsi1 : SCSI emulation for USB Mass Storage devices
May 12 12:12:01 nas2 kernel: sda: sda1
May 12 12:12:01 nas2 kernel: USB Mass Storage support registered.

After that you can procced to mount the device, lets say add this line to the /etc/fstab file as folow:

/dev/sda1 /mnt/MyUSBHD vfat suid,uid=1002,dev,exec 0 0

I wish it can help you.
