Can anyone tell me what Driver i need to install from a Flash Drive so my CD-Rom will work? I am trying to install a new fresh copy of the Operating System Windows Server 2008 R2 and i cant get my CD-Rom to work, i can get a CMD prompt but can not find the Drive to install the OS. So what Driver is it i need to install in order to get the CD-ROM to work so the OS will install?

Your CD-ROM doesn't work? or you can't see hard drives to install to?

If you are getting a message about the CD/DVD driver, your installation media is bad. Try reburning the media, different media, different software, different computer, or downloading the ISO again.

If you just can't find hard drives to install to, then you need to 1) configure RAID, and/or 2) load drivers. Which controller do you have?
