PowerEdge R710 - Issue Windows 2000

Hi, I have great doubt, I have a Dell R710 server which will copy all of my old server. The question is I have an application that runs only on Windows Server 2000. For that server I see no driver support for Windows 2000. There will be some way to run it?. And if you can not run I would work in compatibility mode on Windows 2008 R2?

I await your answers, thanks!

It is extremely unlikely you will get Server 2000 installed on an R710 for lack of drivers (not just from Dell, but from any device manufacturer for devices in the R710) and just general incompatibility.  You may get the application to work in a compatibility mode, but I'd say your best shot at running this archaic software (aside from getting an updated version or seeing if the software vendor has a patch/shim available), is to install 2000 as a virtual machine running inside of 2008R2 using Hyper-V.

Virtualization is indeed the way to go. Hyper-V (in 2008 R2) is an option, but you can also go with VMware ESXi (free version will work fine on this server).
