I created a new thread for your post as it had nothing to do with the original thread you posted on.
Are you installing 2003 or 2003 R2?
Are you using CD or DVD media?
Which RAID controller are you using?
How many drives, what size, what RAID configuration?

Please reply me urgently whether Windows Server 2003 R2 supports DELL R710 or Not. If not can we install Windows 2003 R2 by installing RAID drivers? please reply at the most earliest.

Keep in mind that it was in the middle of the night for me when you posted your reply.
Yes, 2003 R2 is fully supported on this server.
You can install in one of three ways:
1) Boot to the USC for OS Install.
2) Boot to the DVD that came with your system - or download it from support.dell.com (SMTD or SBUU).
3) Install directly from your 2003 R2 CD. If you install from the OS CD, you will need to slipstream the RAID drivers using Microsoft deployment tools or nLiteOS.com (easier if you are not familiar with MS tools).
Do you have a SAS 6/iR or a PERC?
If a PERC, which model? S100, S300, H200, or H700?

Firstly thank you very much for your kind reply.
After lot of efforts i turn to Server 2008 R2 standard.
And I install with ease but still i'am facing a problem in it.
I have 2 SAS HDD of 300 GB each, 1 HDD installed and displaying 300 Gb, But
another HDD is not showing anywhere, not in Bios, not in Windows nor in System management.
But the HDD lid works... So please help me out to detect the other HDD.
Please reply me as soon as possible.
Thankx

First, you won't see any drives in the "BIOS" (F2); nor will you see a drive in Disk Management, unless it has first been configured on the controller. Boot to the CTRL-R configuration utility for the PERC H700, then go to the PD MGMT screen. Do you see your drive(s) there?

Did you read this thread?
Are you installing 2003 or 2003 R2?
Does your 2003 media have SP2 on it?
32-bit or 64-bit?
Are you using CD or DVD media?
Which RAID controller are you using?
How many drives, what size, what RAID configuration?

www.dell.com/.../poweredge-r710
Download it and create a DVD using the ISO image. Boot to it, select Install OS, and when prompted, insert the 2003 CD to finish. You MUST have SP2 on your 2003 CD.
