Server Administrator Event Viewer Entries

Hi All,

troubleshooting an R510 server after a strange reboot and have found in the event viewer talking about the disks:

Disk 01 or 0:0:1 is a Seagate Drive and not a Dell one so we get a warning in omsa from this (all other drives are green)

but the event log is showing this as a warning

Controller event log: PD 03(e1/s1) is not a certified drive: Controller 0 (PERC H200 Integrated)

but PD (Physical Disk 03) is Physical Disk 0:0:2 in omsa and that is reporting as a dell drive and is green

Controller event log: Unexpected sense: PD 04(e1/s0), CDB: 28 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00, Sense: 70 00 03 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 0:  Controller 0 (PERC H200 Integrated)

Controller event log: PD 03(e1/s1) is not a certified drive: Controller 0 (PERC H200 Integrated)

Unexpected sense. SCSI sense data: Sense key:  1 Sense code: 17 Sense qualifier:  1:  Physical Disk 0:0:0 Controller 0, Connector 0

Unexpected sense. SCSI sense data: Sense key:  3 Sense code:  C Sense qualifier:  2:  Physical Disk 0:0:0 Controller 0, Connector 0

confused can anyone shed any light please??

thanks

Lee

Re: Server Administrator Event Viewer Entries

Drive listed in the logs failed shortly after these logs entries started to appearing so that answers the question
