Unable to boot on DVD in UEFI mode

Hello,

I'm trying to install Windows 2012 in a T420 (with PERC H710p) on GPT partition.

I configured the UEFI mode in BIOS, selected DVD in F11 menu and inserted the "System Management Tools and Documentation" DVD.

However... the system cannot find any boot device.

How can I enable the boot on DVD in UEFI ?

Thanks in advance for your help.

Athena, did you get this working?  can you describe your steps in more detail and what is not working?

Strange...  I could not find any .efi file on it.

But I have my server installed now.

Hi,

Yes, it is now working... but not with the DVD "System Management Tools and Documentation".

That DVD is not UEFI-bootable.

I booted using the Windows 2012 installation DVD, and I downloaded the PERC H710 driver from the Internet and saved it on an USB key.

it boots fine under UEFI for us, but as long as you got the install going :emotion-2:
