Upgrade T100 to Windows Server 2012 R2 (missing driver LSI2032)

Hi,

I´m currently trying to do an in-place update on our T100 Server to Windows Server 2012 R2.

Problem seems to be the controller card for the Quantum LTO-3 storage device, which is a

LSI2032 SCSI-Controllercard PCIe

When gathering the needed infromation Windows setup displays error which has to be fixed before being able to proceed.

Install updated drivers for the following devices. If you already have an updated device driver, click Load driver and follow the steps.
Storage controllers: LSI Adapter, Ultra320 SCSI 2000 series, w/1020/1030

I searched on the www.lsi.com and on dell support sites for an updated driver to this controller, but could not find any for 2012 R2.

Any help is appreciated!

Thanks and greetings from Germany.

Hello Gerhard

I don't show drivers listed for the U320 on the T100 support page. It appears that it just uses the driver in the Windows driver database, and we have not published an additional driver. I don't show that Windows Server 2012 R2 is a supported operating system for the T100. The OS support matrix lists 2012 as being supported but not R2. This may be one of the reasons 2012 R2 is not supported.

Hi DELL-DANIEL,

thanks for the reply - even if it is sad news for me ;-(

Would have hoped for maybe an alternative driver...

Thanks!
