Windows Essential Business Server
Is Dell going to offer EBS 2008? As of now their SBS offerings are still 2003. The launch date is today, but no mention that I can find on the Dell site.

Is Dell going to offer EBS 2008? As of now their SBS offerings are still 2003. The launch date is today, but no mention that I can find on the Dell site.

I tried to find information on our site but couldn't...but I did try a chat with a sales rep and we are now offering SBS 2008 and EBS 2008.

When will DELL offer EBS 2008 preloaded on hardware?

There will be an EBS OEM offering at the end of June / early July that you can purchase from dell.com. The OS will not be preloaded rather the OS setup DVD's will be added to the sever hardware you purchase. You can use Open Manage to install the OS on the three or four servers you wish to run your environment.
