Service Interface Menu not appearing for Dell Power vault MD3820i

To change the default IPs I have deleted the IPS configured in the eth1 and eth2 and restart the storage to take the changes in effect. After reboot I tried to connect to the storage via micro USB port connection. After I press the Crtl + Pause, I am getting the usual prompt "Press within 5 seconds: for Service Interface, for baud rate"

I have given "S" but I am not getting service interface Menu.

Please let me know how to configure the IPs for the eth1 and eth2.

Hello Muthu1936,

To configure the ISCSI ports on your MD3820i you can use MDSM or SMCLI.  You can only change the management ports via serial ports.  Is this a new install of your MD3820i?  If it is a new install, then here is the deployment guide as it will assist you with your install. http://topics-cdn.dell.com/pdf/powervault-md3800i_deployment%20guide3_en-us.pdf

Here is also the Administrator guide & if you look on page 57 it explains how to configure your ISCSI settings.  http://topics-cdn.dell.com/pdf/powervault-md3400_administrator%20guide_en-us.pdf

Last here is a link to the SMCLI guide. http://topics-cdn.dell.com/pdf/powervault-md3400_cli%20guide_en-us.pdf

Please let us know if you have any other questions.
