Changing the size of a Virtual Disk

We have a Dell NX3230 storage and we have 2 Virtual disks setup. Since we are running out of space and we have 4 empty slots, We are planning to procure 4 x 4TB HDD to add it and we want to add the disks and increase the capacity on one of the Virtual drives we are using Raid 6 with PERC H730 Mini (Embedded). Once we add the drive is it possible to increase the size without losing any data?

Hello venkat444,

You can add new drives and get them seen.  You will need to go into the PERC bios and need to add the drives to the virtual disk.  Once your drives have been added to the virtual disk then you will need to use diskpart to expand the volume in windows.

Please let us know if you have any other questions.
