MD300I
Good morning, I am currently installing an MD300 power vault server; I have a problem because if I'm not mistaken, this server was used and has the addresses changed, in which case not, how do I access this server with the default ip addresses and configure the ethernet ports to connect the disks

Hello fernandoo21j,
The default IP address of the management ports are 192.168.128.101 static IP address for controller 0. For controller 1, the RAID controller modules use the 192.168.128.102 static IP address.
You will need to install MDSM to manage your MD3000i. Here is a link to the Resource CD that has MDSM on it. http://www.dell.com/support/home/us/en/19/drivers/driversdetails?driverId=R294936
Here is also the link to the administrator guide as well. http://downloads.dell.com/manuals/all-products/esuprt_ser_stor_net/esuprt_powervault/powervault-md3000i_user%27s%20guide20_en-us.pdf
Please let us know if you have any other questions.

hi , one of my i/o Raid controller was not working and Md3000i front amber light blinking giving sign of Enclouser status in Fault state.
This happen when power shutdown too long. Does this mean The battery backup also down and the cache lost ??
What the solution does i have to configure back that RAID controller ?? or i just replace new RAID controller ??
Thanks.

Hello kelantanFmteknikal,
If you login to MDSM and look at the recovery guru does it state that your raid battery has failed? If it has failed, then you can replace just the battery and not the whole controller. Here are the Dell part#’s for the battery. Dell Part# JY200, & C291H.
Please let us know if you have any other questions.
