expand disk-group disk 0.2 SSD
Error: The pool requested is of the wrong storage class. (2022-05-12 19:47:11)
Can anyone confirm that we cant add new disk Virtual Pool adding new members????
Looks like we need to create a RAID 1 and it will Virtually expand the space , but technically is several disk as raid 5 , and 2 as raid 1...

Mriosfer,
The issue is the disk group type, as seen on page 23 of the admin guide here, virtual disk-group expansion is only available with the ADAPT protection level. From what you posted it appears to be a Linear, and not ADAPT or ADAPT Linear, so that is likely the cause.
Let me know if this helps.

Your post and the manual doesn't say much.
How do we convert it? How do we fix it? It says that a RAID 5 CAN be expanded.
Please most more consist options and fixes/workarounds/proper ways to do it, rather than a generic reply.
Please make this information a lot more clearer

Hello, as I know in virtual pool mode, only ADAPT disk groups can be expanded. For RAID 5 or RAID 6 disk groups, expansion is not possible. To increase the capacity of a virtual pool with RAID 5 or RAID 6 disk groups, the administrator must create a new disk group with enough disks. I mean linear disk groups can be expanded, but virtual disk groups cannot.
