ML6000 and cleaning tapes with same label number
Hi,
We have an ML6020 library. It has 6 drives and is configured with three cleaning slots. We originally received one Dell branded Universal Cleaning tape, labelled CLNU00L1. We ordered more tapes and they have the same label as the original cleaning tape. Do we need to get new labels or are we good to put the new tapes into the library with the same label as on the original tape? Do we even need more than one cleaning tape in the library at any one time?

cleaning tapes have a 50 use life and need to be replaced after that. You can use one tape for all drives but have some spare. Also the bar code needs to be unique for each tape, having 3 tapes with the same bar code confuses the software.
