I am in serious trouble with my MD3000i. The other day 1 of my physical disks failed in my RAID 5 array. I ordered a replacement but before it arrived a 2nd drive failed in the same disk group. I now have the replacement but can't use the storage manager to replace one of the drives as the disk group is offline.
Any ideas or am I completely and royally stuffed !!!!
What you can do is to reseat the second drive that failed to see if you can get the virtual disk to come back online. If you can get the virtual disk to come online then you can replace the first disk that died. If that doesn’t work then I would suggest calling support & opening a ticket with them.

Note: If reseating the 2nd failed drive doesn't work, you may want to prepare for a full restore from tape. You may also want to order 2 more drives; one to replace the 2nd failed drive and the other to become a hotspare (or a cold spare if all your drive bays are already in use).
