Password Reset Dell Powervault MD3200i
Hello...i forgot the password of our Dell MD3200i, if i reset the password by pressing and holding for 5 seconds the "password reset button" on the controllers..what then is the DEFAULT Password?? also what will happen to my existing Configuration?? will it affect my existing configuration??

Hello botod,
If you reset the password using the reset button on the controllers it only reset the password and leaves all configuration alone. There is no default password for MDSM as it is left blank.
Please let us know if you have any other questions.

Thank you very much Sam for that good news...i was so worried because a lot of virtual disk already assigned to servers...the storage MD3200i was configured 2 years ago and i forget the password that i set on the storage array and now i have to re-configure again as users are requesting for additional disk...
