Process to Add Discs to MD3860i?
We have an MD3860i with 30 discs that I need to add more to. It is unclear from the documentation if I have to disconnect the iSCSI connections and take the SAN offline in order to add these drives.
What is the process for adding new drives to an MD3860i?

Hello Aaron,
When you are adding new drives to an MD you need to make sure that you add the drive in pairs like 2, 4, 6, etc. You don’t have to power off your MD to add drives as they will be seen once inserted into the MD & MD drive are hot swappable as well. When you add the drive to your MD they will be added into free space on the MD. Once they are seen as free space then you can assign the space to your disk groups or disk pools which ever you are using.
