I also have a similar issue but I did not have a hot spare and had to manually fail and replace. I had 1 impending failure, and then when that completed, there was a second failure. We replaced both drives and now I am getting an unreadable sectors detected.
Both Rebuilds completed just fine, and all drives are showing optimal. Could this just be an erroneous message?
Any help would be amazing.
Do you happen to have a support bundle from your MD3200i so that we can review it to see why the hot spare drive didn’t engage? I can send you an email & you can reply back with the logs.
