TL 2000 Library and Drive firmware upgrade
I have Dell TL 2000 tape library
Library Firmware version is D.10
LTO6 Tape drive firmware version is F9A1
Is it safe to upgrade directly to Version F11_3_20e, A29 Or do i need to follow specific upgrade path ?
Also is there a way to backup the firmware before upgrade ?

Hello Oscar1119,
You can upgrade the firmware directly to the latest version. There is not a way to backup your firmware prior to upgrade.

Thanks for the reply !
Just to confirm if I upgraded to newest firmware version are all prior fixes and enhancements in earlier firmware be applied or no ?
can revert back to prior versions of firmware if things did not work out as expected ?
I have LTO-6 SAS HH tape drive .

Hello Oscar1119,
All updates from previous versions will be applied when you install the latest firmware. The firmware can be rolled back, however in most cases that is not needed.
