Hi Please help on how to "turn on Compression" on TL 2000 Tape library iether on the LCD module or thru web interface

If I remember correctly, compression is set by your backup software (it enables it when it starts the job).

Hello Rhunan,
Dev manger is correct that the backup software handles the compression. You can check the web utility to confirm that the compression by going to Monitor Library Drive Identity. Once there look on the left and you will see data compression & it should say yes.
