error with backup job using Exec backup 12

I am using a Dell PowerVault 122 LTO-2 and Windows 2003 server with Exec backup 12. I am getting a e0008115 ( Physical volume library or robot is paused, disabled, or offline) but when i checked the devices they are online. This happens when I a full job for this server or when i try to restore files from this server.

Has anybody ran into this issue?
