Yes. It can take the E-1600 or the E-2600 family of Intel Xeon processors.

It can handle, but if you like play PC games the E5-1660 is the best choice 'cause the higher turbo clock and lower prices. If you manage rendering the 2680 is better but the ultimate upgrade is the E5-2687W

Hi guys, I have some questions about this motherboard
1. Do I have to get the black plastic out of the cpu fan slot in order to plug in the cpu fan’s cable?
2. Does this motherboard support crossfire or SLi?
3. Does this motherboard support exc ram?
