Dell T5600 not recognizing processor
So I have purchased a Precision T5600. The system configuration and BIOS both show dual E5-2609 processors. However, when I took them out for cleaning I found they are E5-2689 processors. Is there a reason the system wouldn't see them as 2689s?

If you check in the BIOS, what does it say for the number of CPU cores and the Processor ID?
