Precision 5820 Tower Bios update from 2.04 to 2.19

Can anyone help me with bios update issue. I installed the latest bios for Precision 5820 in windows 11 and reboot the PC. A few minutes after the firmware update started the progress bar got stock on 55% and the fan started to rev up. I left the PC running like this for about 15 - 30 mins and no change, then I press the power button to turn off thinking the CPU is over heating. I cannot get anything to show on the screen any more and the PC fans are still running at max speed. Is there a way to recover the bios from this? Please let me know. thanks

HI there,

try removing the power lead totally and discharge any power in the PSU by pressing the power switch on.

then plug the power back in.

turn on and see if anything appears on screen.

failing this you may want to try the Bios Recovery linked here
