Dell Inspiron 7567 keeps crashing while gaming

I have been having this issue for a while now and it seems to happen more and more often. When I open a game and put a big  load on the computer for any small period of time it just suddenly shuts off. It doesn’t even crash it just dies, the whole thing, no lights, fans or sign of life. When I turn it back on a few minutes later it brings me to BIOS and gives be a time of day error and invalid configuration. I didn’t have any issues like this for the first years I owned the laptop.

Any idea for a fix? Thanks in advance!

If the system has never had any internal cleaning and maintenance (including replacing the thermal pads below the heatsinks), it's overdue for that -- it sounds like it's overheating.
