My PC is a new Dell Precision 7540 with Linux. I ordered this product with no out of band systems management. Here is the info that makes me believe this is not how they sent it to me. It shows intel mei loaded and active

My question is does no out of band systems management not include the intel management engine. If this is wrong and I am more than pretty sure it is then this will be second PC in a row Dell has sold me the wrong hardware in it. Please help me confirm this to be true not so I will know.
I have a Precision 7540 with Windows, but i want use Linux to do my workspace. I contact dell, they can not give me an Linux image. so I have problem with Linux, the fingerprint can`t work in Linux. I am search for how to fix this problem? can you share some usefully information, such as ubuntu recovery ISO or Linux finger print driver?
