Mobile Precision 7520, Fan Malfunction message on boot

Hello,

We have a Mobile Precision 7520 that has just started throwing up a "Fan malfunction" error when booting up.  Pressing F1 allows it to continue booting, but, do we need to take this to a shop to get repaired?
