2335dn "initializing" due to USB fault

Running Windows7 on Dell Inspiron One 2320 with Dell 2335dn MFLP- printer stays on initializing whnever computer wakes up with "Windows has stopped this device because it has reported problems (Code 43)- device it has stopped is universal USB host controller  Port_#0006.Hub_#0004.

Twofold problem- USB keeps stopping and sets printer into "initializing".

Using usb on side for wireless mouse/keyboard- using 1 usb in rear for the printer.

Drivers in device manager are all up to date- ran them one by one.

BIOS is updatd-version 6.1.7601 service pack 1 build 7601.

I can stop printer from freeze by unplugging- turn off- unplug usb- plug all back in and send print job. Initializing stays off for about an hour than it re-initiates.

SHould I get a new usb wire for printer or am I missing something else.

This has been going on for months now- before I could get a day or two out of the unplugging. Now it's an hour.
