5100cn Painting the page Red!
Hi
Can anyone help. My 5100cn Colour Laser Printer has been working fine, although I needed a new Cyan {Yellow} Cartridge.
The printer fires up fine and diagnosis itself.....no problem
When you print the page comes out it has a red streaky backgroundm - I have replaced the Cyan cartridge with a genuine Dell but the problem persists
Anyone help me?:emotion-11:

Make sure you are using Dell toner for the magenta toner cartridge.
The drum, transfer roller, or developer is at fault if the streaks still occur.
The drum and transfer roller can normally be swapped from a known good unit, but if neither of those resolve the issue, its printer replacement time as the developer is costly to repair due to needing to have a technician on site.
