A940 All-In-One Printer ink cartridge
I purchased a refurbished black ink cartridge from Office Max and it started to work when I initially put it in, but now it doesn't print anything at all. I don't know why? The printer acts as if its writing to the paper, but when its finished, the paper is still white. No text or images are printed. Is there anything I can do?

Dell Series 2 ink cartridges have a sensor in them that cannot be reset. Article on refilling Dell ink cartridges
Dell Series 2 ink cartridges can only be purchased at Staples, Walmart or Dell's website.
Since you purchased a refurbished cartridge, it probably stopped working because of the sensor. I would recommend that you take it back to the place of purchase for a refund.
