I have an AIO 926 printer that I am using with Windows XP that will not print. I have uninstalled the printer and reinstalled it and my documents simply sit in the print queue. I have tried updating the drivers but honestly I am not sure I am even updating the right ones.
First run Delete Print Jobs to remove any stuck print jobs in the queue.
Disconnect the printer.
Download and run the patch(printer cleanup utility) until it prompts you to restart your computer.
Restart your computer.
You can then install the printer using the printer disk or download the drivers from Dell's website. Install the drivers. You'll get a message, the printer is not connected. Connect the printer at this time(powered on)
