AIO 964 USB printer plug in at the back of system wont be recognized!

HI,

I recently purchased AIO 964 printer, I attached it at the back of my computers USB ports but to no avail the printer wont be recognized at back. Although I have already installed the drivers of the printer using the front usb ports and it works! Do you think the USB ports at the back is the problem?? Need help!
