C2665dnf - keeps answering calls thinking they are faxes
I have to leave my C2665dnf printer off, otherwise, it thinks all incoming calls are faxes, despite my changing the following setttings:
Printer Settings > Fax Settings > Incoming Defaults > Receive Mode > Telephone
So what's the real world difference between setting this to Telephone, Fax, Telephone/Fax, Ans Machine/Fax?
I've tried them all, and the C2665 still keeps picking up the line instead of letting the answering machine get the (non-fax) call.
New firmware 201510020654 didn't help.

Jesse, I read the manual and that's why I'm confused. Why does the printer answer phone calls with fax tones when its set to Telephone only?
