Dell 1250c A02. NOT PRINTING. Only printing notepad documents!!!

Hey guys 

I'm using a Dell 1250c A02 on windows 7 SP1

I have no problem printing from notepad or wordpad. I've tried to print documents from  MS office 2003 and 2010. Also Chrome and Adobe acrobat. When I send the job the printer LED is flashing green and the rollers spin but nothing prints. If I reboot my computer after a print fails the bios detects a usb device but wont progress to windows until I pull the power on the printer.

When a job is sent eg from office. The print monitor says "Printing" while the printer LED is flashing green. Then "Deleting" LED solid green.

I tried to update the firmware but the printer is not detected although windows can see it. 

any ideas? Cuz im out of them!
