Dell 1600n printer compatibility
I purchased my computer from Dell directly on 12/4-08. My
son gave me his printer recently (a Dell 1600n). I can’t get the scanner to
work. My son thinks the printer is not compatible with VISTA Windows. My specs
on the computer are: Dell Vostro 200; Intel Pentium 2.40GHz, 3.00 GB Memory, 32
Bit operating System; Windows Vista Home Premium –Service Pack 2
How can I get the scanner to work on my computer?

The Dell software only supports Windows XP/2000/ME/98se. Your going to have to search for a 3rd party scanning software.
