Dell 3100cn - Faded Black
Hi,
I have a Dell 3100cn laser printer, which is printing out like the example below. I have replaced most of the usual parts - toner / drum / fuser, and also a new cleaning pad. But the print out remains faded. Is there anythng else I can try ? has anyone ever had this issue before?

I would like to see what this printers contamination report looks like.
Possible issues if all colors are affected - primary and secondary bias transfer rollers. If black is the only color affected, I would bet the black developer would be at fault.

Hi,
Looks like you were right, the toner was clumping on the left hand side of the black transfer roll, I have ordered a new one, hopefully this should sort it.
