Dell All In One 926 Printer- constant paper jams and printer busy message

I have a Dell All in One printer-926 and use a HP Envy laptop with Windows 7.  Yesterday I printed something out and the printer got jammed, this has been happening often, and once cleared continued to print.  Then I went to print something else and a message on the computer stated that the printer was busy but there was no message on the printer.  I cleared the queue and still would say the printer is busy.  I tried shutting off the printer and laptop and trying again but it is still doing the same thing.  Not sure how else to address the problem.  Any feedback would be appreciated.  Thanks.

After you cleared the paper jam, unplug the printer from the wall, then remove the power brick for 60 seconds. This will reset any error message the printer is getting.

In the December batch of Windows Updates, Microsoft installed Internet Explorer 11. IE11 had been causing printer problems.

Open Internet Explorer, click on Help, then click on About Internet Explorer. It should show the version there. If you have IE11, then go to control panel, Windows Update, Installed Updates, look for Internet Explorer 11. Click on Internet Explorer 11, uninstall.

Restart the computer, when prompted. Then see if your printer works.
