HELP-Unsupported Cartridge message on the Dell Personal Inkjet Printer J740

I just set up a brand new J740 Inkjet printer.  When I go to print a test page I get the message "Unsupported Cartridge" with a picture of the B/W cartridge w/a question mark.  And the color cartridge looks fine.  I cannot print.  Very frustrated.  Any suggestions would be appreciated.

Try reseating the printer cartridges as described on page 16 of the Owners Manual which is available online in PDF form at the following web address:

If no help, try uninstalling and then reinstalling all printer software. If still having the same problem, there may be a problem, printer cartridge maybe; in this case I would advise contacting Dell Technical Support for more trouble-shooting information.
