HP Photosmart C5180

Question

Are there any known issues with using HP PS printers with Dell 8200? I am on my third model and run into the same problem every time. HP was not able to resolve. I have used a 4180 and now a 5180. In two modules (PS Premier and Doc Viewer, dialogue boxes do not appear, even though they are there (confirmed by random clicking with mouse). I cannot print from either module, but can d from Essentials and Express. Thanks,,

There are no known incompatibility issues with Dell's and non-Dell printers.    As you are only having problems with a specific application, that would not be a hardware incompatibility issue but rather a problem within the particular application.

I agree with you...it doesn't make sense it would be hardware. Any suggestions as to what might be at issue with software? The exact same problems show up with loading off the CD as well as downloading from HP website. Problems were there with the HP C4150, now with the C5180. I spent hours with HP to no avail. I cannot find any instances of anyone else with the problem. Ideas?
