P513w Optical Character Recognition
I have misplaced my installation disks. Is there software that I can download that enables the Document scan mode as shown on the Dell Home Page that can be used to control scanning of pictures and documents? The Document Icon is dim and "Install OCR from CD to enable" is shown in the box. I am trying to recognize Chinese and Japanese characters.

Thank you for your response. I downloaded the software but could not figure out how to integrate it with my Printer Manager (Dell Printer Home). Soon after I found my installation CD and reinstalled my printer. All is working OK now. Thanks again.

Try downloading Simple OCR, it should work nicely with your printer. If my memory serves me correctly, you should be able to chane the language, if needed.
