Printer and factory settings
I can't get my printer to work, so I am going to backup everything and restore to the factory settings. There is something I am confused about. I have the XP installed on my Vista. I would like to know if there is anything I need to do different. Will it backup my XP files and Vista, or do I need to remove the XP harddrive? I am not very intelligent, when it comes to computers. :)

Restoring Your Computer´s Software to the Factory Settings (Easiest method) Will put computer back to what was on it, when purchased.
How To Restore or Reinstall Microsoft® Windows® on a Dell™ Computer Longer method, but might be what you need, since you install XP. Make sure you have all the drivers needed before doing this.
