Problem printing envelopes
I cannot print envelopes using my Dell 948 printer and Word 2007. I have checked the Envelope->Options many times, have tried to print on plain paper and have reinstalled the printer drivers but nothing seems to work. The printer sounds as if it is printing, but nothing appears on the envelope.

Did you try printing the envelopes with a different color ink? I know it's been an ongoing issue with Microsoft Word pprinting the wrong colors on envelopes.
Does everything else seem to print correctly?

Everything else prints OK. I have no color ink left, so maybe that's the problem. I'll have to buy some ink. Thanks.

Re: the printer that does not print anything on envelopes, I put a new color cartridge in the printer and it now prints envelopes, finally! Very nice. Thanks.

why should I buy color cartridge to print black ?
do you have better solution?
I got 962 and after updating XP ( in computer service) I can not print envelopes.
Hope you can help me.
