S2815dn Line when ADF Scan but not Copy

Maybe y'all can help with this one.

A thin magenta line appears when we use the ADF scan to email and scan to USB but no line appears when we use the ADF to copy. The ADF is clean. It doesn't matter if scan is saved as a PDF or JPG. There is no line when we scan to email or USB on the plate.  I could understand if there was something somewhere, but copies using the ADF are line free.  I'm at a loss and it's no longer under warranty.

BCLC Tech Services,

Try cleaning the DADF Glass to see if that will resolve the line. Also, you can click the link below to download the online manual for using and troubleshooting information with your printer.

I ended up cleaning the DADF glass multiple times before the line finally disappeared.
