SCANNING SOFTWARE PROBLEMS

I am having scanning problems with my A940. My printer works great, but when I go to scan I get a message that the "scan was not successful" in the Dell AIO A940 Messaging Center. I have tried all the steps they tell you to and then some, but no luck. I have reloaded the drivers, replugged the power adapter, plugged and unplugged the USB cable and restarted the system. No luck! Please help!

assuming you unlocked the scanning mechanism after receiving the unit........when you watch it scan, does it do anything at all?

I am having the exact same problem. The printer will photo copy fine from the printer but it doesn't respond to the all in one software
