I have been trying to set up the scan to email function on our dell 2145cn printer and I am consistently getting a send error (smtp). I am setting the scanner up to send email to outlook users. All of the sever setup settings are correct and by settings I mean smtp sever, pop3, ports.... I must be missing something though, my guess is somewhere in the client setup or a permission is not set right. The printer will not take a firmware update as well. Could this be part of the issue? If anyone could help me out I would appreciate it.
